Opteon XL41 R454B

Opteon® XL41 (R-454B) is an innovative refrigerant blend developed as a low-environmental-impact alternative to R-410A in modern HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) systems. Based on hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs), it offers a significantly reduced GWP (approximately 466, ~78% lower than R-410A) with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP = 0).

This refrigerant is classified as mildly flammable (ISO/ASHRAE A2L), non-toxic, and miscible with polyol ester (POE) lubricants, facilitating its use in new systems with minimal design changes compared to R-410A. Furthermore, it offers thermodynamic performance comparable to R-410A, with high cooling capacity and efficiency.

It is suitable for various HVACR applications, particularly where high performance and compliance with the latest environmental and safety regulations are required.
