Kryon R410A

Kryon® 410A (R-410A) is a benchmark refrigerant in the HVACR sector, consisting of a near-azeotropic mixture of HFC-32 and HFC-125, developed as a long-term alternative to HCFCs such as R-22. This blend does not deplete the ozone layer and ensures superior cooling capacity and higher operating pressures compared to previous generation refrigerants.

Due to its composition, Kryon® 410A is non-flammable (Class A1 according to ASHRAE) and can be easily used in modern air conditioning systems designed for HFC refrigerants. The product is suitable for a wide range of air conditioning applications, such as:

• Residential air conditioning systems (split and multi-split units).

• Small to medium-sized commercial systems.

• Water chillers and HVAC units in residential and commercial buildings.

• Medium and low-temperature commercial refrigeration systems in combination with scroll or reciprocating compressors.

Its thermodynamic properties allow for high operating efficiency, offering energy performance advantages over older refrigerants like R-22, while also enabling the design of more compact and high-performing systems. The use of miscible lubricants, such as Polyol Ester (POE) oils, is recommended to ensure optimal compressor lubrication.

The refrigerant is available in a virgin version, for new applications or original charges, and in a reclaimed version compliant with the AHRI-700 standard, providing a sustainable and cost-effective option for maintenance and recharging of existing systems. Both versions meet rigorous quality requirements and guarantee equivalent performance.

Supply is provided in containers compliant with T-PED regulations for the safe transport of refrigerant gases, with the option of management through "empty-for-full" exchange services such as HandyGas, simplifying refueling logistics.
