Description

Kryon® 404A (Reclaimed) is a high-quality reclaimed refrigerant, produced through authorized processes in full compliance with European F-Gas Regulation (EU) No. 517/2014 and the purity criteria of the AHRI-700 standard. This ensures that the product possesses chemical characteristics and performance levels equivalent to virgin refrigerant, despite being derived from appropriately treated and reconditioned used gas.

This refrigerant is widely used in commercial and industrial refrigeration applications, particularly in medium- and low-temperature systems, such as:

Centralized systems for supermarkets and large-scale retail (refrigerated display cases and walk-in freezers).
Cold rooms and refrigerated storage facilities.
Professional catering and food services.
Stand-alone "plug-in" systems, such as refrigerated counters and display units.
Refrigerated transport.
Ice and ice cream production equipment.

Kryon® 404A is an HFC refrigerant that does not deplete the ozone layer and provides cooling capacity and efficiency similar to R-502, the former established standard for high-performance refrigeration. Its compatibility with miscible lubricants, such as Polyol Esters (POE), makes it suitable for most modern compressors, though careful attention to oil type and viscosity is required during system retrofits or conversions.

The reclamation process is carried out in authorized facilities with full traceability (batch number, reclamation site), and labeling compliant with environmental regulations guarantees its legality and safety for use through 2030 and beyond.
