ECPro – Electronic Controller for Condensers, Dry Coolers and Gas Coolers
ECPro is SELPRO's electronic controller for condensers, dry coolers and gas coolers equipped with EC fans. It features built-in control logic, configurable parameters and Modbus communication, enabling the management of fan groups, varying operating conditions and emergency functions without developing dedicated application software. It supports analogue 0–10 V control, digital Modbus communication and, via optional MFan modules, individual fan control and diagnostics.
Description
ECPro is SELPRO's electronic controller designed to regulate and manage EC fans in condensers, dry coolers, gas coolers and industrial cooling systems.
Unlike a general-purpose control platform, ECPro features built-in application-specific control logic for fan systems. OEM manufacturers can select the configuration that best suits their equipment and adjust the operating parameters without developing application software from scratch.
The controller manages varying load conditions, seasonal operating modes, night-time speed limitation, multiple fan banks and Wet & Dry applications. Its integrated functions include Low Capacity, Floating Setpoint, Digital Scroll, Auto Clean and configurable Fail Safe strategies.
ECPro provides three options for managing EC fans: analogue 0–10 V control, digital Modbus communication or individual fan connections via optional MFan modules.
Modbus communication provides access to operating and diagnostic data from compatible fans, while separate communication ports keep motor communication traffic independent from the Building Management System (BMS).
Thanks to its configurable inputs and outputs, integrated control functions and expansion capabilities, ECPro can be adapted to different system architectures.
Parameter configuration, operating checks and diagnostic activities are supported by SELPRO software tools, including browser-based access via the optional KLNK accessory.
A dedicated fan control platform, from equipment regulation to digital communication with individual EC fans.
