Gas Leak Testing: Technical Webinar on Safety Checks According to UNI
Testing gas systems for leaks is one of the most critical steps in ensuring operational safety, regulatory compliance, and long-term reliability, especially in plant engineering and industrial applications. To learn more about procedures, requirements, and test methods, Testo is organizing a free technical webinar dedicated to gas leak tests according to the main UNI standards.
The webinar will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM , and is aimed at installers, maintenance technicians, and inspectors who work on residential and industrial gas systems and who require a clear and up-to-date overview of control procedures.
The meeting will provide a practical interpretation of the UNI 7129, UNI 11528, and UNI 11137 standards , analyzing when it is mandatory to perform the leak test, which parameters to monitor, and how to correctly interpret the results during commissioning and maintenance.
During the webinar we will explore :
- purposes and application areas of gas tightness tests
- procedures envisaged for the commissioning of the systems
- checks required by UNI 11137:2019
- differences between the direct method and other test systems
- practical examples of measurement and control in the field
This event is designed to support refrigeration and gas system professionals in properly managing safety audits, reducing the risk of non-compliance and improving the efficiency of control processes.
