Testo presents the new testo 51x family

Testo's new instruments help refrigeration technicians quickly locate refrigerant leaks, improving system efficiency, safety and regulatory compliance.

Leak detection is one of the most important tasks in refrigeration system maintenance: even a small leak can compromise system performance, increase consumption, and impact refrigerant management.

To support refrigeration professionals, Testo presents the new testo 51x leak detector family , a range of instruments designed to offer specific solutions for refrigeration, air conditioning and applications requiring greater operational flexibility.

The new series includes three models characterized by rapid detection, precision and ease of use, designed to assist technicians and service operators during system installation, maintenance and control activities.

The testo 51x range includes:

• The testo 513, dedicated to heating systems, allows you to quickly detect any gas leaks during maintenance activities.
• testo 514 , the solution designed for refrigeration and heat pumps , helps locate refrigerant leaks in AC/R systems, helping technicians maintain system efficiency and reduce refrigerant emissions.
• The testo 515 Ex , the most versatile model in the family , integrates gas and refrigerant detection in a single instrument. With sensitivity up to 1 g/year, ATEX certification, and interchangeable sensors for refrigerants, gases, and CO₂, it allows for a wide range of applications, including systems with flammable A2L and A3 refrigerants.

Advanced performance for more efficient interventions

Testo's new leak detectors are designed to simplify the daily work of refrigeration technicians. The active extraction system enables response times of less than two seconds, while the color display makes data easy to read thanks to various display modes.

The tools are also equipped with features designed for field interventions, including audible and vibrating alarms, automatic zeroing and a flexible hose to reach even the most difficult areas of the plant.
