Fieldpiece ST4 Dual Temperature Meter with 2 Type K Thermocouples

The Fieldpiece ST4 Dual Temperature Meter is an advanced digital thermometer that allows simultaneous measurement of two temperatures using included Type K thermocouples with wire clips. Thanks to its integrated technology, the ST4 provides fast and accurate thermal compensation, particularly useful in environments with frequent temperature fluctuations, typical of HVAC/R installation and maintenance operations.

The meter clearly displays T1, T2, and ΔT (T1–T2) on a 3.5-digit LCD screen, allowing for quick and reliable readings. Dedicated MIN/MAX and HOLD buttons enable recording of minimum, maximum, or frozen readings. Users can select measurement units in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).

The ST4 comes with a clear protective case and a magnetic hook for hands-free field use, as well as a durable rubber housing to protect against impacts and drops. Field calibration is simple via the dedicated front-panel inputs, ensuring accurate readings at all times.

The Fieldpiece ST4 allows simultaneous display of T1, T2, and ΔT on a 3.5-digit LCD with a 2000-count resolution. Temperature measurements cover a range from ‑50 °C to 1300 °C (‑58 °F to 2000 °F) with a resolution of 0.1°. Accuracy varies depending on the temperature, with specific values defined for different operating ranges and improved precision after field calibration.

The data update rate is approximately 2.5 readings per second, ensuring fast response to changes in measured temperature. The device is powered by a standard 9 V battery, providing up to 200 hours of typical use. Recommended operating conditions are 0 °C to 50 °C with relative humidity below 75%, while storage conditions range from ‑20 °C to 60 °C with humidity up to 80%.

Integrated functions include separate MIN/MAX and HOLD buttons, LED indicator for disconnected probes, °C/°F unit selection, advanced compensation for rapidly changing environments, and compatibility with any Type K thermocouple, in addition to the included probes.
