Fieldpiece DR58 Heated Diode Refrigerant Leak Detector
The Fieldpiece DR58 is a professional, portable heated diode refrigerant leak detector with a backlit LCD display designed to identify even very small refrigerant leaks with high sensitivity. It is ideal for HVAC/R technicians working on air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Description
The Fieldpiece DR58 is an advanced diagnostic tool for locating refrigerant leaks in HVAC/R circuits. Its heated diode sensor delivers excellent sensitivity (better than 0.03 oz/year — approximately 1 g/year) and can detect all major refrigerants including HFC, HCFC, CFC, HFO and blends. The detector is also compatible with A2L refrigerants.
The bright backlit LCD display provides easy-to-read bar graphs and numeric readings, while dual audible and visual alarms help guide the operator to the source of the leak. A built-in LED illuminated tip assists in finding leaks in dark or noisy environments.
The unit is rugged and certified with an IP54-rated body that resists impact and field conditions. USB-rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 18 hours of runtime, and both automatic and manual zeroing functions allow full control during leak detection.
