Epta strengthens its Silpo network with new, high-efficiency refrigerated departments.
Epta contributed to the creation of the new Silpo thematic supermarkets in the cities of Lviv and Vyšneve, supplying commercial refrigeration solutions and CO₂ systems that equip the fresh and very fresh departments.
The two stores, both approximately 1,500 m² in size, combine scenic concepts and high-efficiency systems, integrating refrigeration technology and architectural design.
Installed solutions
Costan counters and display cases were chosen to manage the various product categories, including:
- GranValdaj, semi-vertical positive temperature cabinets for packaged products;
- Velvet, assisted display cases for meat and dairy products, with large display surface;
- The Vyšneve departments also include Silk and the Chorus promotional island, designed for self-service and seasonal commercial activities.
The set of installations allows for uniform distribution of cold, low energy consumption and a continuous display experience across the various departments.
Transcritical CO₂ refrigeration
Both stores use transcritical CO₂ systems, a configuration that has become strategic for Silpo in reducing environmental impact and optimizing refrigeration performance.
The Lviv supermarket is also designed as an energy resilience point, ensuring operational continuity even in the event of grid instability.
With these new openings, Silpo confirms its desire to adopt natural refrigeration systems and high-efficiency solutions , while Epta consolidates its presence on the Ukrainian market with highly technical supplies.
