Epta completes the Hauser acquisition, creating a commercial refrigeration group worth over €2 billion.
With the completion of the acquisition of Hauser , Epta consolidates its position among the leading European players in commercial refrigeration. The transaction, effective March 1, 2026, will bring the Group's annual pro forma consolidated revenues to over €2 billion and approximately 10,000 employees globally.
This strategic move significantly strengthens Hauser's industrial presence in the DACH region and Central and Eastern Europe, thanks also to its production facilities in Austria and the Czech Republic.
Strengthening in food retail and integrated services
Hauser, with a turnover of approximately 410 million euros in the 2024/25 financial year and 1,500 employees, specializes in solutions for food retail: multi-deck counters, refrigerated display cases and walls, cold rooms, control systems and energy monitoring services.
The integration expands the Epta portfolio and consolidates an industrial model increasingly oriented towards:
- complete solutions for large-scale retail and food distribution
- energy efficiency and consumption reduction
- natural refrigerants and sustainability
- digital services and advanced after-sales assistance
For the commercial refrigeration market, the transaction represents a clear sign of consolidation: industrial scale, geographic coverage, and design capabilities become key factors in responding to a sector undergoing significant regulatory and energy transformation.
With the closing of Hauser, Epta strengthens its European structure and accelerates innovation, supply chain integration, and international competitiveness.
