SH Pod Advanced Chiller casing

The SH Pod Advanced Chiller is a casing designed to soundproof large-scale machinery such as chillers, refrigerators, multipurpose units, and refrigeration units. The load-bearing structure, which makes it completely independent from the machinery, is integrated with accessible panels to allow for routine maintenance and ensure easy access to the machine.

Thanks to the innovative Slim Hurdle™ technology , which guarantees extremely low pressure drops, the sound-absorbing shell can be positioned just a few centimeters from the unit, significantly reducing system footprint. SH Pod is the only product that can be installed within the required distances without affecting the unit's operation.

The cover is designed to completely surround the machine, with upper soundproofing baffles and soundproof grilles equipped with 20 mm thick lamellar baffles, capable of reducing noise in all directions while maintaining low pressure drops (approximately 10 Pa).

Technology and versatility

The Advanced Chillers version is designed to be modular, adapting to machines of all sizes, both in V- and vertical configurations.

These machines, especially if multipurpose, require large amounts of air to maintain the efficiency of the heat exchangers and are often equipped with low-pressure fans. The SH Pod Sound-Absorbing Shell is made with low-pressure drop technology and high free surface area.

Particular attention is paid to routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning radiators, which can be done directly through the spaced sound-absorbing baffles, or accessing electrical panels, which always have simple, functional doors.

Aesthetics, Protection and Durability

Given the large size of the machinery protected by SH Pod Advanced Chillers, a valuable aesthetic disguise or a unique architectural design is increasingly required. The shell can be painted in any RAL color, equipped with textured coverings, or fitted with special architectural elements or cladding, while maintaining its functionality and that of the machine.

Furthermore, since they are applied on often high-value machinery, built to last for many years, SH Pod plays a further important role in extending their life cycle and reducing maintenance costs:
