Intermediate Refrigeration Technician Course: In-person technical training with the Refrigeration Technicians Association

The training program for refrigeration professionals continues with the Intermediate Refrigeration Technician Course promoted by the Refrigeration Association , an event designed to strengthen operational skills and technical knowledge of systems and maintenance procedures.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday 24 February 2026, from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 18.00 , at Tergas Srl, Via A. Meucci 20 – 30020 Noventa di Piave (VE).

Technical insights into the refrigeration cycle

The training day will include classroom instruction, reviewing the operation of the refrigeration cycle and focusing on control systems. Ample time will be devoted to practical demonstrations on a test bench, analyzing the main operating parameters and identifying the most common malfunctions, as well as providing basic electrical engineering knowledge useful for everyday operations.

The course will go into detail about vacuum and gas loading procedures, illustrating the correct use of vacuum pumps, recuperators, and scales, along with best practices for cylinder management and preventing atmospheric dispersion.

There will also be a section dedicated to system repair and maintenance: welding and brazing techniques, the use of folders, and leak detection methods, from electronic leak detectors to traditional systems.
