With the new FLEXY-n range, RPS Cooling redefines the standards of industrial cooling with a platform of chillers, free cooling, and heat pumps designed to combine technology, efficiency, and sustainability in a single modular and customizable solution.
Efficiency and reliability for every process application
The FLEXY-n series was created to guarantee high performance and continuous operation even in the most demanding conditions, covering powers from 10 to 240 kW in cooling and up to 195 kW in heating.
At the heart of each unit is the shell and tube evaporator immersed in an inertial tank , a solution that ensures thermal stability, low pressure drops and maximum reliability even with fluids that are not perfectly clean.
Scroll compressors with IDV technology, brushless EC fans and advanced electronic management offer a SEPR HT of up to 6.7, class-leading values that translate into reduced consumption and rapid returns on investment.
The particularly low noise level starts from 46 dB(A) at 10 m , making the “Low Noise” models ideal for installations in sensitive environments such as hospitals, schools or public buildings.
Modular and configurable solutions
FLEXY-n is the only industrial platform available in chiller, free cooling and heat pump versions , with a compact, modular and plug & play structure that simplifies installation and reduces start-up times.
The wide choice of configurations – Free Cooling (FB), Low Noise (SL), High Ambient (FAL), Low Water Temperature (LW), FO for oil, NX non-ferrous and BH with hot gas bypass – allows to cover the entire spectrum of applications: from the mechanical to the plastics, food, pharmaceutical and HVAC sectors.
Each version can be customized thanks to Piemme Srl's in-house metalwork, which guarantees rapid production times and maximum flexibility in the creation of custom systems.
Green & Future Proof: low GWP and zero PFAS refrigerants
RPS Cooling has chosen to anticipate the future by adopting low GWP refrigerants compliant with F-Gas, Ecodesign and ErP 2021 regulations.
The FLEXY-n models use R454B (GWP 467) as standard, while versions with zero PFAS R32 and natural R290 are available on request, which further reduce the environmental impact and make the system completely “future-proof”.
RPS Cooling's approach to sustainability is not limited to the choice of refrigerant gas: each unit integrates high-efficiency components, full inverter systems, intelligent free cooling and advanced RS30 or iPRO controls, designed to optimize performance in real time and reduce operating costs (OPEX).
Connectivity, control and integrated security
The RS30 microprocessor control, with multilingual LCD interface and RS485 Modbus port, ensures intuitive management, dynamic set-point functions and constant monitoring of operating parameters.
For more complex applications, the iPRO system introduces advanced connectivity (Ethernet / ModBus TCP/IP), integrated data logger and predictive functions such as heat recovery, automatic defrost and free cooling management.
Completing the standard equipment is a system of safety sensors – antifreeze, level, HP/LP pressure switches, phase monitor – which ensures maximum operational continuity even in critical conditions, with the support of the optional automatic hydraulic bypass .
