F-Gas and refrigerants: new responsibilities and certifications for technicians
In the refrigeration sector, regulatory changes and the introduction of new refrigerant gases are redefining the work of installers and maintenance technicians. In this scenario, staying up-to-date on F-GAS, safety, and certifications is increasingly important for operating in a compliant and knowledgeable manner.
To explore these topics further, Confartigianato Verona , together with Assofrigoristi and Logica Lab , is promoting a technical meeting dedicated to refrigeration professionals.
F-GAS regulations and refrigerant management
The event will be held on Friday 15 May 2026 at 2.30 pm at Villa Quaranta – Ospedaletto di Pescantina (VR) .
The focus will be on the application of existing regulations, which do not change in substance but now require more careful management, especially with the introduction of low flammability (A2L) and flammable (A3) refrigerants.
A transition that requires new operational responsibilities and greater attention to safety aspects.
The program: safety, PED and best practices
During the meeting, the main technical aspects related to refrigeration will be addressed:
- F-GAS certifications for technicians and companies
- safety in systems according to UNI EN 378
- operational management of A2L and A3 refrigerants
- PED regulations and obligations for pressure equipment
- recovery, recycling and regeneration of refrigerants
- waste management and environmental responsibilities
- qualifications for brazing and welding
A program designed to provide practical guidance and regulatory updates useful for daily work.
An opportunity for the refrigeration sector to update itself
The meeting provides an opportunity for direct discussion between technicians, associations, and trainers, with the aim of supporting professionals in managing the new challenges facing the refrigeration sector.
