Commitment to innovation and sustainability

The transition to low-GWP and natural refrigerants represents one of Record's key development areas.

As early as 2005, the company developed a patent dedicated to a valve mechanism for high-pressure systems , born from a research project carried out in collaboration with the University of Bergamo.

In the following years, Record expanded its research by developing mechanisms intended for new refrigerants and particularly demanding operating conditions, with solutions dedicated to CO₂ (R744), R290 and other new generation fluids.
