The European refrigeration landscape is enriched by a new representative body: Euredia is born, the first pan-European association dedicated to refrigerant distributors, repackagers, and reclaimers . Among the founding members is A-Gas , along with other industrial companies active in the main European markets.

The new association was established at a crucial time for the sector, marked by the evolution of the regulation on fluorinated gases and a progressive strengthening of European policies regarding sustainability, traceability, and emissions reduction.

Euredia acts as a technical and institutional partner to support the implementation of EU regulations and contribute to the creation of a more stable, transparent, and harmonized refrigerant market at the European level.

A single voice for distribution, recovery and regeneration

The new association's primary objective is to provide coordinated representation for supply chain operators who manage the circulation of refrigerants throughout their entire life cycle, from distribution to recovery and regeneration.

In particular, Euredia aims to:

• strengthen uniformity in the application of the European regulatory framework
• combat illegal trade and non-compliant market practices
• support the development of a truly operational circular economy in the refrigerant sector

Supply chain regeneration and control at the heart of change

Refrigerant regeneration is one of the new association's strategic pillars: a key process for reducing the sector's environmental impact and limiting the use of virgin gases, in line with the European Union's climate objectives.

Alongside this, Euredia will work to improve refrigerant traceability and strengthen coordination between operators, national authorities, and European institutions, with the aim of reducing the fragmentation that still exists among member countries.

With the creation of Euredia, the European refrigerant industry has acquired a new representative body focused on market governance and the effective implementation of environmental policies.
