KryonLube POE and PAG Lubricants for CO₂

KryonLube POE and PAG for CO₂ R-744 are advanced synthetic lubricating oils formulated specifically for commercial CO₂ (R-744) refrigeration systems. Designed to ensure excellent solubility in the refrigerant, thermal stability, and protection of internal compressor components, these lubricants ensure reliable and long-lasting performance in modern systems with low environmental impact.

Description

The KryonLube POE and PAG for CO₂ R-744 range has been developed to meet the extremely severe operating requirements of modern commercial CO₂ refrigeration systems, characterized by high pressures, wide thermal excursions, and continuous duty cycles. The use of natural refrigerants such as CO₂ requires highly specialized lubricants capable of ensuring chemical stability, mechanical reliability, and consistent performance over time. Thanks to advanced formulations and the use of high-purity synthetic bases, KryonLube lubricants ensure efficient compressor lubrication, proper oil circulation within the refrigeration circuit, and complete protection of the system's critical components.

Specific Design for High-Pressure CO₂ Systems

CO₂ (R-744) systems operate at significantly higher pressures than traditional systems. This involves high mechanical stress and complex operating conditions for lubricants. The KryonLube range is formulated to:

  • Maintain molecular stability even under high compression conditions, avoiding chemical degradation and residue formation;
  • Offer high resistance to oxidation, reducing the formation of acids and sludge that could compromise compressor operation;
  • Ensure a stable and continuous lubricating film, even under high mechanical loads and variable temperatures;
  • Minimize viscosity loss during prolonged operating conditions.

These characteristics allow for greater system reliability, fewer maintenance interventions, and a longer operating life of mechanical components.
